What are Notes? Why should I use them?

Notes are a great way to share helpful tips about a resource. An example is “Need to get in line before 8 am” or “Ask for Susan”. Notes are not used to share your experience with a service or program, that’s what we call Reviews. Learn more about "Reviews".

Adding a Note:

1. Go to the Organization or Opportunity’s page. Scroll down to the “Notes” section on the lower right of the page.

2. Click “Add a Note”

3. In the pop-up window, add your note and select your privacy settings. Your options are

  • Private: only you will see the note
  • Team [Pro members only]: only Pro members connected to your organization will see the note
  • Public: everyone using One Degree, even if they don’t have a One Degree account, will see the note

Editing a note:

1. Navigate to the “Notes” section of the resource

2. Click on the subtext “You wrote on…”

3. Select the “Edit” button

4. Once you’re done editing the text or privacy settings, click the “Update Note” button

Deleting a note:

1. Navigate to the “Notes” section of the resource

2. Click on the subtext “You wrote on…”

3. Select the “Delete” button

4. Select “Yes” to confirm that you’d like to delete the note
