How do I sign-up for a community 1Degree account?

Creating a community 1Degree account takes about one minute. 

1. Go to http://1degree.org/ and click the “Sign Up” button on the top right of the page.

2. Enter your email address, phone number, or use your Google account to create your 1Degree account. Make sure you leave the “ I work at a nonprofit or government agency” box unchecked. 

Your password must at least have:

• 8 characters, 1 letter, 1 number, and 1 special character

3. Add your location & language. This will set your account to automatically search for resources near you and in your preferred language. 

4. Add your Birthday and Gender (Optional). This helps us know the demographics of our members. We won’t share this information with anyone - we're HIPAA compliant.

One Degree membership is always free and available to anyone. Thank you for joining our community!
