How do I mark that a resource is not available right now (At Capacity, Temporarily Unavailable)?
Thank you so much for helping ensure the quality of resource information on One Degree. Anyone with a One Degree account can edit resources on the site - you don't need to work for the organization or get permission to edit it to One Degree.
Steps to mark a resource as “not available right now”:
1. Go to the Organization or Opportunity page. You can find this by entering the name of the organization in the Search bar labeled "Find". The organization should appear in the drop-down menu as you're typing. If it doesn't appear, hit Enter and select the "Organizations" tab on the next page. Select the organization from that list. On the Organization page, you can select the Opportunity from the "Opportunities" list.
2. Click "Suggest Edits" on the top right of the page. If you are a staff member of the organization, this button will say “Update Page”.
3. Select "Temporarily Unavailable” from the dropdown menu.
4. Select "Yes, mark as unavailable” from the confirmation message.
5. Your changes will not appear on the page right away. Our team will review your submission and it will be live on One Degree within 1-3 business days. Thanks for your patience! You'll receive an email from us when your submission has been reviewed or if we have any further questions. We will take into account whether your account is affiliated with the organization that you are editing.
6. If approved by our team, this update will disable the ability for other professionals to “Refer” clients to the service and a public notice will appear on the Opportunity page that the service is currently unavailable.
7. When the Opportunity becomes available again, select Mark Available from the dropdown menu.. As always, our team will review your submission and it will be live on One Degree within 1-3 business days.
8. In order to keep the resources on One Degree both accurate and accessible to community members, we will be reviewing resources that are marked unavailable more often. If the resource is unavailable for more than 6 months, our team may delete it so that it no longer shows up on the site for the public at all. This protocol is to ensure One Degree continues to prioritize connecting people to active, life-affirming social services.
